Puppy Training Classes Langley
Puppy and Canine Basics Group Dog Training Classes
Puppy Class
- This class is for Puppies 10 – 20 weeks old
- 6 one-hour group training classes
- Limited to 3 dogs max per class
- Our main goal with this class is to educate you on how to create well-rounded puppies who will grow into confident and happy dogs. What puppies go through in their first 20 weeks of life is crucial in determining their temperament as they grow older.
- We want to make sure everyone in this class feels confident in creating a wonderful and positive life for their pup while offering a greater understanding of the way in which dogs learn.
- This class is designed to give you an overall picture of how to set your pup up for success. Along with teaching you how dogs learn and the techniques we use to encourage your pup to listen better, we will also discuss other aspects of having a puppy like socialization, dog body language, body handling, cooperative care, and more!
Canine Basics I
- This class is for dogs 17 weeks and up
- Did you miss puppy class? Want to freshen up your skills? Did you recently bring home an awesome rescue who’s friendly but has little training? Come train with us!
- This class is perfect for puppies or dogs who are just beginning their training journey or for people who want to freshen up their dog’s skills. This class will give you a great foundation to set yourself up on the right paw with your dog or puppy!
- In this class, you will learn how to train with your puppy in a positive way and you’ll even learn some basics about how dogs learn, dog body language, socialization, and more.
- Important Note: Group classes are NOT appropriate for dogs with reactivity. Reactivity can include: fear, aggression or over-excitement. While we love each and every pup, it becomes difficult for your trainer and the others in class when we are not able to focus as a group. If you are part of a class and your pup is experiencing reactivity, we will happily work with you to find time for private sessions that will better set you and your dog up for success.
Canine Basics II
- This training program is for dogs who have taken our Canine Basics 1 group class or for dogs who have done private training with us.
- In this class, we work on the skills that were taught in Canine Basics 1 but add in distance, duration, and distraction. Adding in these other elements will help to ensure that your dog will respond and happily listen no matter where you are.
- In this class, you will learn how to train with your dog in a positive way and have fun while doing it!
- Didn’t take our Canine Basics I or train privately with us? Give us a call to see if this class would still work for you!
- Proof of previous training class may be required.
